My name is Andreea and I am a certified nutrition coach and the founder of Dee_nutritioncoach.
I am born and raised in Romania and moved to the UK in 2013. My mother and my grandmother are my role models when it comes to cooking. Since I was a child my mother got me involved in the kitchen and in time the love for cooking grew.
I have great memories of the family dinners at my grandparent's house. My grandmother enjoyed cooking and baking and even now years later whenever we go back to visit, she will make me my favourite chocolate cake. Since living in the UK my cooking has evolved, I've had the chance to explore different cuisines, our family meals today are far less traditional, but I am still cooking some of the staple Romanian dishes that we grew up with.
Few years ago my husband started struggling with IBS , his symptoms were impacting both our family life and his work life. He was constantly tired, bloated, with low energy. As the advice received was just to eat more fibre, I started to research ways of helping him through diet. In a few months after we implemented changes in his diet we were able to see the improvements.
Now we are an active family, my daughter plays tennis, my husband has discovered his loved for running marathons and is currently training for an Ironman. I enjoy exercising, bike rides and swimming.
After all this years of reading books about nutrition and experimenting with cooking, I have decided to start a nutrition course, so I can become a nutrition coach and help other women like me, who want to learn more about healthy eating, weight management, meal planning.
As a parent whose child is passionate about sports and dreams to be a tennis champion, I want to be able to support her as best as I can. This is why choosing a course where I can study Sport Nutrition was very important for me. Now, I want to help other parents to understand more about the impact of nutrition on performance, guide them through changes they can make to support their child development.

My Philosophy
I don't believe in any quick fixes or magic pills when it comes to health. I see it more as a balance between nutrition, exercise, mindfulness and de-stressing techniques.
